Pavich To Play Softball at Northwestern

Lauren Pavich (Simi Valley, Calif.) has signed a letter of intent to continue her softball career at Northwestern College next fall.4960

Pavich is a 5'6" infielder who has played one year for the Simi Valley High School softball team. Pavich hit .419 with three home runs and three doubles in leading her team to an 18-1 record last year. She was named the 2017 Defensive Player of the Year and has received the Scholar Athlete award four years. A member of the National Honor Society, Pavich plans to major in biology at Northwestern. She is the daughter of Randy and Wendy.

"Lauren is a wonderful addition to our softball program," commented Northwestern head coach Chris Nachtigall. "She is a versatile player who has a lot of softball experience. Pavich is diligent both in the classroom and on the softball field and I am confident she will be able to have a great softball career at NWC."
