Isaiah Lee (
Sioux Falls, S.D.) has signed a letter of intent to continue his cross country and track and field careers at Northwestern College next year.Â
Lee is a 6'0" middle distance/distance runner who competed a combined seven seasons for the Roosevelt High School cross country and track and field teams. Lee earned all-state honors as a junior and senior and qualified for state in both sports. He has personal bests of 2:05 in the 800m, 4:40 in the 1600m, 9:56 in the 3200m and 16:46 in the 5K. Lee is a member of the National Honor Society and plans to major in political science at Northwestern. He is the son of Ben and Corinne.
"Isaiah is a young man with impeccable character whose coaches and teammates praise his efforts to the team," said head Northwestern coach
Scott Bahrke. "We are blessed to have him join our Red Raider men's cross country and track teams next fall. Isaiah is a talented distance runner who brings the experience of running in big meets, having competed in both the state track and cross country meets the last couple of years."
