Evan Rich (Lincoln, Neb.) has signed a letter of intent to continue his soccer career at Northwestern College in the fall of 2018.

Rich is a 6'0" goalkeeper who has earned two letters playing for Lincoln Lutheran High School heading into his final season this spring. Rich averaged 7.4 saves per game last spring as a junior and was an honorable mention all-state player during his sophomore season. An outstanding student, Rich is an honor roll student and plans to major in Youth Ministries at Northwestern. He is the son of Darin and Wendy. 

"Evan will fill in nicely for us at the goalkeeper position next year," commented head coach Dan Swier.  "We only needed to bring in one goalkeeper this year and we knew right away that we wanted Evan to be that guy.  He will be a great addition to our team and the campus as a whole.  Evan embodies many of the qualities that we look for in the young men that we recruit, so we know his contributions will be valuable."
