Raiders Fall To Concordia In GPAC Quarterfinal Play

Northwestern College played Concordia University Thursday evening in GPAC quarterfinal play. Northwestern season ends with a 1-2 loss against the Bulldogs.  Northwestern finishes at 7-12 overall and finish 4-5 in the conference.

Northwestern College found a goal late in the first half when Lee Wynja was able to score with an assist from Isaac Wong.

The Bulldogs responded in the second half after being down with a goal by Lewis Rathbone to tie the match in the 54th minute.

Northwestern kept up the pressure in the second half taking eight shots. 

Concordia took advantage of their five attempts in the half as they capitalized on two of them.  Lewis Rathbone picked up his second goal of the game in the 72nd minute.

Keeper Matt Scott recorded three saves.

Tyler Limmer Northwestern's top goal scorer on the year put up four shots, unfortunately unable to connect on any of the attempts.

Concordia will advance to the GPAC Semifinals on Saturday.

The Raiders will end their season with a final record of 7-12.
