Gwen Mikkelsen, Softball
  • Mikkelsen (Jr., Casa Grande, Ariz.) had an outstanding weekend at the plate, hitting .667 in four wins.
  • She hit two home runs in Northwestern's win over Dakota State, becoming the first Raider since 2021 to hit multiple home runs in a game.
  • Mikkelsen had two games of hitting 4-4, while she drove in seven runs on the weekend.
  • Northwestern is 16-0 to begin the season, the best start in program history.
