FEMALE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Gwen Mikkelsen, Softball

Mikkelsen (Jr., Casa Grande, Ariz.) had an outstanding weekend at the plate, hitting .667 in four wins.
She hit two home runs in Northwestern's win over Dakota State, becoming the first Raider since 2021 to hit multiple home runs in a game.
Mikkelsen had two games of hitting 4-4, while she drove in seven runs on the weekend.
Northwestern is 16-0 to begin the season, the best start in program history.
