FEMALE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Katlyn Wiese, Cross Country
  • Wiese was the top Northwestern finisher and the second-best NAIA runner at the Roy Griak Invitational.
  • In her first ever 6K race, she placed 23rd overall among 382 runners from the NAIA, NCAA DII, and NCAA DIII.
  • Her 5K split was faster than her previous 5K race on a less challenging Herb Blakely course two weeks ago.
  • The Raiders finished 13th overall among 30 teams at the meet.
