FEMALE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Zavyr Metzger, Volleyball
  • Metzger (Sr., Larchwood, Iowa) stepped up over the weekend to help the Raiders to a 4-0 record to start the season.
  • Offensively, she led the team in kills with 35, including a career high 11 against Spartanburg on Friday.
  • Metzger showed her usually defensive prowess with 30 blocks, averaging two per set.
