  • Tornow (Sr., Washington, Iowa) tied the program record with 16 strikeouts in a complete-game shutout against Valley City State on Saturday.
  • He carried a no-hitter into the seventh inning of the contest.
  • In the win, Tornow only allowed two hits and walked one batter.
