Berry Commits to Northwestern

| By:
Hunter Berry (Bolivar, Mo.) has signed a letter of intent to continue his basketball career at Northwestern College.

Berry is a 6'0" guard who transfers to Northwestern after one year at Southwest Baptist University. Berry played four years for Bolivar High School where he scored 787 points to go with 213 assists and earned all-state and all-conference accolades. Berry averaged 16 points, nearly five rebounds and five assists as a senior and was named a KJEL All-Star.

"Hunter is a well-coached, competitive point guard," stated Northwestern Head Coach Kris Korver. "He played in a tough league against outstanding competition. Hunter is quick, possesses a high basketball IQ and makes the players around him better. We are thrilled to have Hunter join us in the fall."

Berry is an honor roll student and plans to study physical education at Northwestern. He is the son of Heath and Trish.

"I love atmosphere at Northwestern, both within the basketball program and within the entire campus," said Berry. "Northwestern made me feel welcome and Coach Korver is a great coach; he is the kind of coach I want to play for."
