Northwestern College dropped one spot in this week's edition of the NAIA Volleyball Coaches' Top 25 poll released earlier today.
Holding the No.3 spot since the Oct. 3 coaches' rating, Northwestern fell to fourth in this week's edition after losing to then-No.5 Hastings in four sets last weekend. The Red Raiders, now 26-3 on the year, totaled 422 points this week, and are sandwiched by fellow GPAC teams, Hastings (3rd) and Dordt (5). Two additional conference teams, Midland (11) and Morningside (20), are in the top 25 while a sixth GPAC team, Doane, earned votes in the Oct.31 poll.
Lindsey Wilson (Ky.), the lone undefeated team remaining, continues to hold the number one spot, earning 11 of the 17 possible first place votes. Viterbo is again No.2 with a 29-1 record and receiving the final six first place votes. The trio of GPAC teams, Hastings, Northwestern and Dordt, round out the top five.
