Van Drie To Play Tennis at Northwestern

Emma Van Drie (Minooka, Ill.) has signed a letter of intent to continue her tennis career at Northwestern College next fall.

Van Drie lettered two years for Minooka Community High School. Van Drie earned all-conference honors both seasons and was named the team’s most valuable player in 2015. An honor roll student, Van Drie plans to major in political science and English at Northwestern College. She is the daughter of Glenn and Jean.

“I am excited to have Emma commit to Northwestern College,” commented head Northwestern tennis coach Jeff Guthmiller. “She is an excellent student and will add depth to our team. Emma has good fundamentals and the potential to be a great contributor in our program. We very much look forward to her joining the tennis program.”
