Mount Marty grabbed the lead back early in the second quarter but a three-pointer by Paige Danner put NWC in front, 25-23, at the seven-minute mark.

A basket by Sammy Kasowski tied the game for the fourth time, 27-27, but the Red Raiders scored the next four points, on two free throws by Kassidy De Jong and a basket by Renee Maneman, to take the lead back.

Northwestern led by three at the half, 39-36.

The lead switched hands seven times over the first four minutes of the second half as the teams traded baskets.

Mount Marty, however, closed on a 10-2 run, and following a basket by Kneeland just before the horn, seized the lead for good by the end of the third quarter, 59-57.

The Lancers pushed their lead to six before Northwestern made one last rally to get within one (68-67) after a floater by De Jong with 2:17 left, but this was the final basket for the Red Raiders.

Kneeland knocked down her fifth three-pointer with one minute left, giving the Lancers a four-point lead, and Mount Marty held off Northwestern, 75-67.
