Top-ranked Northwestern remained unbeaten in conference play as they cruised to a 100-55 victory over Dakota Wesleyan Wednesday night in the Bultman Center. The Raiders improved to 7-0 in the GPAC, 16-1 overall while DWU slipped to 1-6, 5-12 overall.

The Raiders began the game on an 8-1 run and never trailed against DWU, shooting an impressive 65% and making 9-of-13 three-point attempts in the opening half . They held a 59-21 halftime lead and continued to roll in the final 20 minutes.

Six Raider players scored in double figures, led by Becca Hurley with 22 points. It marked the 12th time the senior scored 20 or more points this season. She also dished out a team-high six assists. Val Kleinjan added 17 points, including five three-pointers in the first half. Kami Kuhlmann netted 12 points while Kendra De Jong, Kristin Neth and Alli Dunkelberger all chipped in 10 points. Northwestern outrebounded DWU 40-31, led by Neth with seven. Defensively, the Raiders limited DWU to 35% from the field and just 19% from the three-point line.

Northwestern heads to Lincoln, Neb. on Saturday to play Nebraska Wesleyan at 2:00 pm.
