Sila To Play Volleyball at Northwestern

Jaiden Sila (Gretna, Neb.) has signed a letter of intent to continue her volleyball career at Northwestern College next fall.

Sila is a 6’0” middle hitter who started three years for Gretna High School. Sila hit .314 and put down 146 kills and 24.5 blocks as a senior in earning all-conference honors for the second straight year. She helped lead Gretna to a 30-4 overall record and a No.3 ranking in the final poll. Also an all-conference selection as a junior, Sila is an honor roll student and a three-time academic all-conference pick. Sila is the daughter of Mike and Shaun.

“Jaiden committed to our program last summer after an excellent volleyball camp with us,” commented head Northwestern coach Kyle Van Den Bosch. “She has the great ability to make people around her better and has such a positive attitude. We are excited to welcome Jaiden to Northwestern College.”
