Haley Varcoe (Canby, Minn.) has signed a letter of intent to continue her volleyball career at Northwestern College next fall.
Varcoe is a 6’0” middle hitter who played four years for Canby High School. Varcoe put down 3.3 kills and led her conference with 78 blocks in earning all-conference honors for the second straight year. She hit .331 out of the middle and also served 34 aces in being named to the all-area team. An academic all-state selection and member of the National Honor Society, Varcoe plans to study pre-optometry at Northwestern. She is the daughter of Jeff and Lori.
“Haley had a great volleyball career at Canby High School where she was able to swing at multiple hitting locations along the net,” said head Northwestern College volleyball coach Kyle Van Den Bosch. “Haley will provide depth to our middle blocking position in our program. We are excited that Haley has decided to continue her education and volleyball career at Northwestern College.”
