Men's 4x800 Earns GPAC Honor

The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) announced its outdoor track and field honors and the Red Raiders men's 4x800 relay was named the top track performance.

The team of Tanner Goetsch, Hans Epp, Tim Rose and Peter Hollinger won the GPAC title with a time of 7:40, less than a second in front of the second place team (Dordt). They currently have the fourth best time in the NAIA will compete at the upcoming NAIA Outdoor Championships on May 25-27 in Gulf Shores, Ala.

The men's 4x800 relay was one of four GPAC Championships won by the Red Raiders (women's 4x800, Katie Bosch-800m and Tim Rose-1500m). Northwestern athletes earned all-conference honors (top eight finish) in 35 events at the championships, 17 for the women and 18 for the men.
