Bindert To Compete In Track and Field at Northwestern

Becca Bindert (Sioux Falls, S.D.) has signed a letter of intent to continue her track and field career at Northwestern College next year.

Bindert is a two-time letterwinner for the Lincoln High School track and field team. A state qualifier in the shot put, Bindert placed eighth at the state meet as a junior. She has personal bests of 38’5” in the shot put and 104’5” in the discus. Bindert was named a scholar athlete and plans to major in Nursing at Northwestern. She is the daughter of Shane and Paula.

“We are happy that Becca is joining our women’s track and field program,” commented head Northwestern track and field coach Scott Bahrke. “She is a great addition to our Red Raider throws crew. Becca is a hard worker who is selfless in her actions. I am excited to see how God will use her the next four years at Northwestern College.”
