Northwestern Falls at Doane

Northwestern College played Doane University Saturday afternoon. Northwestern lost the contest 2-3.  Northwestern falls to 7-9 overall and now 4-3 in the conference.

The Raiders were able to score early in this one as Tyler Limmer continued his hot scoring steak off a pass from Hartrick Tarr.

Doane got aggressive late in the first half as they were able to take a 2-1 lead.

The Tigers then added their third goal in the 55th minute off a free kick to push the lead to 3-1.

Tyler Limmer tried to will the Raiders back in with his 2nd goal of the match again with Hartrick Tarr credited with the assist.

The Raiders took seven second half shots and were unable to send the game to overtime by getting the equalizing goal.

The Tigers were on the offensive all day as they took 25 total shots and finding the net on three of those shots for a 3-2 score.

Keeper Matt Scott recorded six saves in this one.

Tyler Limmer picked up his fifth multi-goal game of the year and goal numbers 11 and 12.
