Stoesz To Continue Basketball Career At Northwestern

Levi Stoesz (Mountain Lake, Minn.) has signed a letter of intent to continue his basketball career at Northwestern College next year.

Stoesz is a 5’11” guard who played three years for the Mountain Lake Area High School basketball team. Stoesz averaged 18 points, five rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.4 steals in leading his team to an 18-10 record and a second place finish in sub-sectionals. He earned all-conference honors for the third straight season and was a Daily Globe all-area first team selection his senior year. Named a team captain and team most valuable player three years, Stoesz plans to major in agri-business at Northwestern. He is the son of Burton and Karin.

“Levi is a quick, strong guard who is a great teammate,” said Northwestern head coach Kris Korver. “He is a hard worker, has excellent character and is an outstanding student. We are excited to have Levi join us here at Northwestern.”
