Guthmiller and Gaither Headline All-GPAC Honors

Casey Guthmiller and Dustin Gaither each earned All-GPAC Second Team honors for the Red Raiders. Isaac Horigan, Reed Smith, Joe Done, AJ Nitzschke, and Alec Rickabaugh were named All-GPAC honorable mention.

Guthmiller, a senior, hit 0.326 in 44 starts with 27 runs scored and 17 RBI. He was named a Second Team Outfielder.

Gaither, a junior, led the team with a 0.328 batting average scoring 17 times and driving in 19. He had eight doubles and three home runs. He was named the Second Team Designated Hitter.

Senior Isaac Horigan went 6-4 in 71.2 innings with a 3.14 ERA. Horigan picked up six complete games and also added one save on the season.

Reed Smith, a junior, hit 0.296 this season with 30 runs scored, nine doubles, and two triples. Smith led the team with a 0.441 on base percentage.

Joe Done, a junior, hit 0.273 with 22 RBI, three doubles, one triple, and one home run. Done also posted a 4.05 ERA in 13.1 innings.

AJ Nitzschke, a sophomore, hit 0.311 with a team high 37 runs scored. He also had nine doubles, four triples, and five home runs to go with 26 RBI. 

Freshman Alec Rickabaugh went 5-1 in 13 appearances (seven starts). He posted a 3.99 ERA in 47.1 innings and also collected one save.
